The scheme also incorporates the British Standards applicable to the Private Security Industry, and the joining of the ACS accreditation displays the distinguishing status of quality and service.

The ACS will, for the first time, provide a universally recognised hallmark of quality for Purchasers of security services.

The ACS accreditation mark will enable buyers of services to distinguish between potential suppliers quickly and objectively.

It certifies that the accredited provider has met a clearly defined and independently assessed set of quality standards.
